The government has limited power, but that is not the case for private sector. The Nantou County Rescue Association brings the resources, strength and mobility of the private sector all together to achieve twice the result with half the effort. It has long assisted the Fire Bureau in disaster relief and rescue, and become the Bureau's trustworthy and indispensable partner in disaster prevention and relief.
The Nantou County Rescue Association celebrated its 31st anniversary on June 10, 2023 at associations’ headquarters. In addition to the deputy director of the Bureau and representatives from the Training and Education Section, there were also many county councilors and elected representatives present. Friendly groups such as the county and city rescue associations also came to this grand occasion congratulating and sharing their experiences. It is hoped to continue to work together for the county's disaster prevention and people's life safety in the future.
